The U-05 is a Fokker 50 military transport aircraft that served in the Royal Netherlands Air Force (Koninklijke Luchtmacht) under the 334 Squadron. Named ‘Fons Aler’, this aircraft entered service on December 1, 1996, and was primarily used for VIP transport and passenger operations before its retirement.
Following its decommissioning from the Royal Netherlands Air Force in October 2010, the aircraft (manufacturer serial number MSN 20253) was stored at Lelystad Airport while awaiting a buyer. On November 4, 2014.
