Famous 1930s British biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. Built as a rugged open-cockpit tandem trainer, it taught thousands of Royal Air Force and Commonwealth pilots to fly before and during World War. There are currently an estimated 250 to 300 Tiger Moths worldwide that remain airworthy and in active operation. While more than 8,800 were built between 1931 and 1944, the majority of surviving aircraft are now static museum exhibits or private collector pieces. Acrilyc: 40X70cm
